This had to happen. Oil had come far and fast, and markets do not move in a straight line. But the energy crisis has not been called off, and Oil imports into the U.S. are not going to increase year over year EVER again.

So the devastating truth will be withheld most likely until the final quarter which ends in December, because a good portion of the earnings results for the third quarter are going to be announced prior to the US general elections which would normally be held in early November, barring some false-flag attack. Until then, the huge whitewash reservoir behind the “creative accounting” dam will be sucked dry. We’re not sure if there is enough whitewash left on the planet to cover up the losses for Q3, however.

Police say Carlene Balderrama also left a note telling her husband and son they should take any life insurance money from her death and use it to pay for the house.

Yessir, a fine Wednesday it is. Beautiful weather, it’s blowing 40 MPH, gusting to maybe 50. Heavy rain on and off. Otherwise just overcast and miserable. Dolly finally decided to come ashore a bit north of Brownsville, so I’m catching the north edge of her. The last band of heavy rain just cleared out, but the radar shows more on the way as Dolly’s backside comes in. She’s movin’ slow, so it’ll be a wet and windy night, and maybe into tomorrow. And I’m damn disappointed! I expected the juice to go out and was lookin’ forward to tryin’ out my hurricane lamps!! Oh well, we still got time…..
