Thought Police Bill H.R. 1955/S1959 and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) just passed…
HR1955/S1959 simply turns patriotic Americans into domestic terrorists at the whim of government. Free speech, political activities, philosophical arguments and even religious beliefs can now be used as “proof’ of YOU being a possible terrorist, and declared an “enemy combatant.” How wonderful for our servant government.

FISA gives the government unconstitutional powers to spy on Americans, and forgives criminal activities by the telecom industry. Our government representatives are becoming more and more callous in complete disregard to the Constitution and Rule of Law. Not just the present administration and their lawlessness and disdain for the law of the land, but our Congress is joining into this mindless and treasonous sinking ship and taking our freedoms and way of life with them.

Since several people have kindly reminded me that Mountain House has yet another announcement, I will post this here too. I know this is on other sites, but since I stopped selling Mountain House cans in May when they cut off all new orders, I didn’t think it was necessary to fan the flames any higher.

Well, by the looks of it, ol’ Dolly is gonna go smack Brownsville, and I’ll just get a fresh breeze with a much needed soaking. Of course, it ain’t over ’till the fat lady sings. These storms have a way of reminding us who’s the boss…. But at any rate, the computer models are nearing something of a consensus, and if I lived in Brownsville I’d be heading for the hills. Dolly ain’t no Katrina, but she’ll still spank yer ass.

Total Survivalist Libertarian Rantfest: All sorts of stuff
I have been doing a lot of reading lately. I finished Luciffers Hammer and that other book I was reading by the Guns Germs and Steel dude. Luciffers Hammer was not real strong on lessons but was awesome and so was the other book. I am not reading Mono Labe by Boston Tea Party. I need to order Domestivc Enemies ASAP.
