Iran’s military chiefs warned on Saturday that the Islamic republic would shut down the Strait of Hormuz vital for oil exports and use “blitzkrieg tactics” in the Gulf if it came under attack.

Covering the basics is always a sound practice in my opinion. Start with what you can do, then expand your scope to bigger and better things. Systematically approaching a problem is the best way to resolve it. Survivalist use foresight to prepare for what they think might be coming. That is intelligent behavior in my opinion. The masses have no plan and as near as I can see are in full denial about the current situation. A recession at worst is the common chatter.
